Legislative Coffees are held monthly during the South Dakota State Legislative session (January - March) and serve as an open forum for discussions with elected officials about issues that affect your business. The event is open to the public.
The Chamber’s Agri-Business committee promotes agricultural-based activities by sponsoring an ice cream social during 4-H Achievement Days, recognizing the importance of our Ag industry with a Harvest Appreciation, providing educational information to area school children and supporting our local FFA Chapter.
This series will include business sessions dealing with issues that impact business today. Past events include: Workplace Violence & Preparedness, Disaster Planning & Recovery, and Cyber Security Awareness.
The Chamber hosts this event to give new members an opportunity to showcase their products/services and to be greeted by their fellow Chamber members.
Manufacturing Week showcases Yankton's manufacturing sector and the impact it as on our community. Sponsors help cover videos, social media campaigns, and Manufacturing Olympics to highlight this top Yankton industry.
The Yankton Chamber participates in four parades throughout the calendar year - Czech Days Parade, Riverboat Days Parade, Yankton High School Homecoming Parade and the Festival of Lights Parade. As a parade sponsor, you will have the opportunity to have your logo on a banner displayed on the Chamber entry.

This annual trip provides Yankton community leaders an opportunity to experience lobbying for priority issues at the Capitol in Pierre. Participants typically wear their “Yankton red” and meet with cabinet officials and the Governor. The trip is held in January or February each year.

It’s a time for thanking the hundreds of member companies, individuals and volunteers who contribute to the success of the Chamber, as well as the Yankton business community. The Annual Social & Awards Night is the Chamber’s premier event and has an average attendance of 300+ members. Awards are given for leadership and community involvement.
The annual Ag Gala honors those in South Dakota's leading industry, agriculture. During this event, the Farm Family of the Year award and youth P.A.Y. Scholarships are presented to chosen recipients.
Get informed about city, county and state candidates and important issues prior to elections. This is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the candidates and their campaigns.
Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small business and communities across the country. Small Business Saturday is the Saturday after Thanksgiving, one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Campaigns vary from year to year with the marketing specifying shopping locally during the holidays.

Yankton leaders speak about challenges, opportunities and projects they are currently working on that affect our community. Three events are held throughout the year covering Economic Development, Yankton School District, Onward Yankton, Mount Marty College, City and County Government.
Legislative events feature the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry and are held prior to and shortly after the legislative session to provide a preview and wrap-up of key legislative items.
This is a unique opportunity to welcome new educators to Yankton. A new teacher welcome lunch and three separate coffees welcoming all faculty with YSD, MMC, and Sacred Heart are included in this program.
Develop your personal leadership skills while learning from community leaders in this five-week program that gives selected candidates a deeper view of several components of the Yankton community.
