  • Front Lobby Assistant

    The NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center, NEYAC, is looking for a part-time front lobby assistant & range instructor starting immediately. Position is responsible for assisting the coaches of NEYAC with the day-to-day archery and maintenance activities of the Center along with customer service support of front lobby and archery ranges at the largest archery center in the world.  
    Basic archery experience preferred but can be trained. This is a great position for enthusiastic, friendly personailities with great customer service skills.
    Position starting in May, pay is minimum wage, mostly weekday evening and weekend day shifts.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Archery Range Instructors

    • Assist the Center Coaches with the day-to-day archery and maintenance activities at the center

    • Assist in the set up, take down and maintenance of archery tournaments and non-archery events

    • Responsible for general cleaning and maintenance in work area

    • Assist in maintenance and upkeep of archery and range equipment

    • Works schedule hours including weekends and holidays

    • Adheres to Archery Center policies, procedures and rules including safety

    • Perform all other duties as assigned Lobby Assistant

    • Meet and greet customers in a professional manner

    • Answer phones

    • Become familiar with Archery Center operations and programs

    • Assist in record keeping of archery and non archery activities

    • Check in members and visitors utilizing registration software (Rec1)

    • Ring up sales of programs, services and merchandise on Rec1 and Square Store

    • Assist Programs Director and Center Coaches with day-to-day operations

    • Maintain professional working relationship with other staff

    • Maintain good attendance


    • Strong customer service orientation

    • Works well with children, adults and special needs persons in a public environment on a daily basis

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Familiar with basic archery equipment repairs or willing to learn (company will train)

    • Ability and willingness to earn a USA Archery Level 1 or above archery instructor certification (company will train)

    • Ability to work in a commercial range environment with multiple archery disciplines, clubs and organizations

    • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance to work with children-youth is a mandatory and essential component of this position and continued employment

    • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

    • Able to work in an English-speaking environment

    • Have a valid diver’s license

    • Maintain good attendance and a professional appearance
