Immediate opening for a full-time clerk in the insurance department. Hours will include rotating Saturdays. Duties will include assisting patients in completing insurance forms; heavy telephone usage; answering questions regarding Medicare and Medicaid coverage; and reviewing, completing and forwarding claims to third-party payors.
The individual will have extensive contact and be highly interactive with patients, employees and physicians. Applicant must have a pleasant personality, positive, professional attitude, excellent telephone and communication skills, be highly organized and be a “team” player. Previous insurance/medical experience is helpful.
