We believe if we work together and are proactive, we can prevent the spread of this disease in our community while keeping our economy strong.     21st Street Salon:  Closed until April 28.

    AAA Travel:  Closed to the public, but will be in the office from 8:30 to 5:00 Monday thru Friday.  Phone calls only: 605-444-2761, 444-2753 or 444-2762.  

    Ability Building Services:  Practicing social distancing and limiting all non-essential community involvement.  Visitation at residential facilities should be limited.  In need of face masks and PPE if anyone can help.

    Advanced Veterinary Care:  Curbside service only at this time.  Call when you arrive and they'll take your pet inside and back out to you.  605-689-0455

    Big Friend Little Friend:  In-School Mentoring Program will be suspended until further notice.

    Bon Homme Yankton Electric:  Walk-in service temporarily closed until further notice. Payments can be made via mail, phone, and online.  Call (605) 463-2507 for assistance. 

    Boston Shoes to Boots:  Offering free delivery and shipping.

    Boys & Girls Club of Yankton:  Traditional & Academy locations closed until further notice.

    Broadway Chrylser -  Open normal business hours.  Offering free pick-up and delivery for all service appointments and utilizing key drop box service.  

    Buhl's Dry Cleaners, Laundry & Linen Supply:  Offering curb-side pick up/drop off for no extra charge or deliver/pick up at your home, again with no extra charge. Call ahead (605) 665-3855.

    Calvary Baptist Church:  All events are canceled until March 21.

    Captain Norm's Bait Shop:  Drive-thru window is open and offering curbside pick-up.  They're stocked with bait & tackle, fishing licenses, park licenses, milk, eggs, bread, etc.  Give them a call at (605) 665-4271.

    Casey's General Store:  Temporarily discontinuing the use of refillable mugs and cups.

    Century 21:  Office closed until further notice.  Agents are available by phone, text or email. 

    CenturyLink:  As of March 16, for the next 60 days, late fees are waived and no residential or small business customer's service will be terminated due to financial circumstances associated with COVID-19.  Suspending data usage limits for consumer customers during this time period due to COVID-19.

    Christ Episcopal Church:  Church services canceled under further notice.

    City of Yankton:  Beginning March 23, 2020, City of Yankton offices including City Hall will be closed to the public; however, staff is available to assist residents by phone, email, or through online services.  Regular garbage and recycling collection will occur.  Police, fire and other emergency services continue to operate as normal, with only minor safety precautions affecting their day to day operations.  The Yankton Community Library and the Summit Activity Center will also remain closed.  Cleanup previously scheduled to begin next week has been postponed indefinitely.

    Cornerstones Career Learning Center:  Currently no in-person classes and office is closed to the public.  Students are encouraged to study remotely (contact staff for details).

    Delta Dental:  Mobile program has been canceled.

    Discovery Church/Gathering Grounds: Gathering Grounds Coffee House has closed for this week.  Discovery Church has cancelled all food service activities as well as our Wednesday night children's programs and children's Sunday School.  Adults are still meeting Wednesday evenings.  Sunday services as planned.  Elders check in daily to re-evaluate.

    Elwood Family Dentistry:  Closed to non-emergency patients until April 6.

    Empower Fitness:  Closed until further notice.  Virtual training available.  Contact Niki at 661-5993.

    Essense Salon:  Closed until April 28.

    Exclusive Tan & Beauty:  Closed until May 1.

    Explorers Credit Union:  Lobby will be open by appointment only.  Drive-up service will be available as usual.

    Gavins Point Dam Project: CLOSED immediately until further notice. You can still contact us at (402) 667-2546.

    Gramps:  Offering free delivery for anything in the store, including broasted chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy.  Also offering curbside pick-up.  Gas is pay at the pump.    

    GRAYinspired:  Physical location closed until further notice.  Hosting Facebook Live sales throughout the week.  Follow their Facebook page for updates.

    Great Life Yankton Fitness:  Closed through April 28.

    Heartland Humane Society:  Limiting the general public to just surrender and adoption services.  They ask the general public to not come in just to look at animals. 

    HyVee:  Beginning March 19, all Hy-Vee stores will reserve one hour of shopping time each day for customers at higher risk for illness. Customers age 60 or older, expectant mothers and anyone with an underlying health condition that makes them more vulnerable to illness can shop from 7 to 8 a.m., seven days a week, at any Hy-Vee store. All other customers hours are 8 am - 8 pm.

    Mead Cultural Event Center:  Closed until further notice.

    Meals on Wheels:  Meals will not be delivered daily.  Meals will be delivered on Monday and Friday.

    Menards:  New hours:  M-Sat 8 am - 8 pm; Sun 8 am - 7 pm until further notice

    My Time Mini Spa:  Closed until further notice. 

    Neighborhood Dental:  Limiting appointments to emergency procedures until April 6. 

    NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center:  Closed through March 29, pending the circumstances, will re-open March 30.  

    Northwestern Energy:  All facilities closed to the public.  Voluntarily suspended service disconnections for non-payment to help customers who may be financially impacted as a result of the outbreak.

    Ohiya Casino & Resort:  Open with the reduced hours of 9am-1am.  Restaurant is closed, but to-go orders are available through café.

    Onward Yankton:  April One Million Cups - canceled.

    Pearson Tax & Accounting Solutions:  Limiting face to face meetings and encouraging everyone to take advantage of their virtual platform.

    Quality Health Clinic:  Not taking walk-ins at this time.  Call their office at (605) 689-2273 to schedule a visit. 

    River City Relics:  Storeroom closed but online orders, tshirts, custom orders welcome.

    Royal Sport Shop:  Closed until further notice.  Offering curb side pickup and delivery. 

    RTEC:  Closed through Friday, March 27.

    Sacred Heart Catholic Church:  Masses canceled until further notice.

    Sacred Heart Monastery:  No visitors until further notice.

    Servant Hearts Clinic:  Closed until further notice.

    Shoe Sensation:  Closed to public but pick-up is available.  Call for pick-up or order on-line.  Contact the store for pick-up time.  Orders will be brought out to your vehicle.

    Soul Story Yoga:  Closed until further notice.

    Statement Boutique:  Closed until March 25.

    Studio D:  Closed until further notice starting March 23.

    Styles by Erica:  Curbside pick-up available. 

    Summit Activities Center:  Closed until further notice.  Follow their Facebook page for updates.

    The Center:  Closed until further notice.  Meals On Wheels continue to be safely delivered with 2 meals on Monday and 3 meals on Wednesday, as well as frozen meals for the weekend.

    The Clothing Closet:  Closed until further notice.

    Tractor Supply Company:  Open Monday-Saturday 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday 9 am to 6 pm.

    United Church of Christ-Congregational:  No church services.  Video through Facebook live on church page.

    United Way of Greater Yankton:

    • The Delta Dental Mobile Program scheduled for March 16-20 has been cancelled.

    • LINC Volunteer Events are cancelled until further notice.

    • SPARK Community Conversations are cancelled until further notice.

    • The Clothing Closet is closed and all volunteer opportunities are cancelled until further notice.

    • Big Friend Little Friend, In School Mentoring Program has suspended service until further notice.

    Vision Real Estate Services: Office closed and open houses suspended until further notice.  Agents are available by phone, text, or email.


    Walmart: Open from 7:00 am - 8:30 pm until further notice.  Starting March 24, Senior shopping (60 and older) Tuesdays from 6 am - 7 am.  Vision center and auto center are now emergency services only.


    Williams and Company: Currently office is closed to the public. Still working normal hours of 8:00-5:00. Clients are asked to call the office with questions or for further instructions.

    Wireless World (Verizon): Waiving any account/upgrade fees for the short term.

    Yankton Area Banquet:  Closed until further notice.

    Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce:  Closed to the public but are in the office answering phones and emails.

    Yankton City Hall:  City Hall will remain open, and regular garbage and recycling collection will occur.  If you need to pay a utility bill, get a building permit or similar service, please don’t come in person, call us and our staff will be happy to assist you over the phone, online, or by email.  This closure will not impact police, fire and other emergency services. 

    Yankton Community Library:  Closed until further notice.  Follow their Facebook page for updates.

    Yankton County:  County buildings will be open.  However, we ask the community to refrain from doing county business unless it is absolutely necessary because of legal time constraints.  Calling first is the best option.  If there are tasks that can be accomplished via mail or online, we ask that you use these options or to simply delay your county business for 7-10 days.

    Yankton School District/All Public Schools:  Closed through May 1. Offering free grab-&-go meals for children 18 and younger (details here). YSD Administration Office and all Attendance Center Offices closed to the public.

    Yankton Winnelson:  Closed to the public but open for business.  Call 665-6661 with your orders.  They will bring them out to you.
